Moonstruck
Used a technique called 'digiscopy' i.e. sticking the lens of a digital camera thru the eyepiece of a telescope/ binocular.
Hey, whatever works!
Addendum: Once man thought that the moon was made of green cheese. The astronauts found only rocks. That's what happens to green cheese when it is left out there for so long.

what an interesting idea, i'm thinking if i use a telephoto lens AND a telescope....i should be able to really zoom it in, innit? any advice? btw, really nice shot!
It doesn't work that way i.e. Adding 2 teles' don't double up the power. What I had to do was switch my camera mode to macro mode.
The object focus would be to the telescope's eyepiece, hence the camera would need to focus onto the eyepiece. It might work if your telephoto had macro mode.
Wish you all the best on your attempts.
