Mimicry
To me it looks like a face, perhaps a guy with a thick mustache with sunglasses on. The forehead resembles those "Predator" aliens and wearing a thick fur coat... just imagination unleashed but to the others in the animal kingdom this may be just the thing to dissuade them from making a meal out of........

to me, at first glance, it lookes like the muzzle and enormous nostrils of some grazing animal!
How do you manage to sneak up on it without scaring it?
Hi Tony! It was quite cooperative actually. Wouldn't want to fly away at all even after we nudged it cuz it was right at the doorway. Someone could have squashed it so we moved it later to the bushes nearby.
Interesting moth...looks like a man with mask (because of H1N1, sunglasses (maybe because his future's so bright) and wings (some mutant human).....
Good shot though. You are really good with macro shots..
