Nature's Display of Power

For a long time I had wanted to capture in pictures the awesome power from nature. I finally had the opportunity and equipment at the same place & time. This was the result after 141 shots of empty sky.

Pummkin, was in the house so relatively safer than most places. Was hoping to get a better view but no way i'm going to get on the roof to take these type of shots!

Milo, not dust but water droplets on my lens. Windy then and the lighter raindrops were blown into the open window.

that does it! pack up your bags, we're headed for the hills for more lightning shots. i've got this 6 foot metal rod that we can take turns holding to attract the lightning.... u first? : )

moggie, easier to use Benjamin Franklin's method.. fly a kite during a thunderstorm. 6 foot metal rod weights a lot on a hill climb. With a big enough kite, we cld fly up the hill ... hahaha
