1st posting since May 2011! It has been a long lapse mainly due to Facebook. Most of the photos are now posted there hence the neglect to this blog.
I first visited this island in the mid-80s. It took us 2 hours via a chartered fishing boat from Bagan Datoh.
From a distance I thought it was some monitor lizards basking in the sun on the island just 50 meters away. On the tele, it turned out to be a family of otters!
So shy and left once they were aware of our presence.
This channel connects to the adjoining island at low-tide. You can cross over but beware of the incoming tide. The current here is strong!
